Making The Most Of Your Stationery Design

All over the world, stationery printing has become increasingly popular among businessmen. This has been utilized as a reliable tool for marketing one’s business. Indeed, stationeries are not only inexpensive to produce; they can also be easily distributed to the market being aimed at.

The concept of symmetry — this is one of the design techniques that you should adhere to when printing stationeries. It has been said that symmetry is parallel to beauty. It is therefore important that this concept be utilized when you design your stationery. In addition, it is symmetry that establishes the balance and harmony in any design.

So how do you achieve symmetry in your stationery design? In essence, it is a creative and orderly arrangement of graphic elements and text in your stationery. This aims to achieve balance and accord of all the components of the material. The balance in return makes it easy for your target recipient to comprehend and appreciate your stationery. If the design is done properly, you create that first good impression with your prospective clients.

So if you would like to incorporate symmetry into your design, the following pointers will help you.

The first you can do is to make a rough lay-out of your design. This will definitely help you stabilize your design before you turn it over for printing. This will also help you avoid errors during the final phase of your printing project. Remember, your errors will never do you good. Apart from prolonging your scheduled timeframe, it also increases your costs because of having to do your design all over again. Therefore, so as not waste time and money, have a rough draft so you can undertake the necessary revisions before you hand it over to your stationery printer.

Another thing you should remember are the graphic images that you will be using. It is said that a picture speaks a thousand words. Think in this perspective — your stationeries are your marketing tools to achieve the support of your target market. Make your text brief and concise and make sure to use graphic images that help you project a positive image to people.

The third thing to consider is the use of neutral colors for your stationery’s background. Never use a background that will clash or be in conflict with the other components of your stationery such as your text and images. On the other hand, it is also wrong to put a background that will steal all the attention from the more important elements. Never divert the attention of your readers because of a very flamboyant background. Remember, your recipient should pay more attention to your text and images. It is therefore wise to use light neutral colors on the background.

With all these said and done, it is time for you to hand over your material to your stationery printer. Where can you easily find them? Just go online and use the search engine. In a few minutes, you will instantly see an abundance of stationery printers. Choose the one that can turn your dream stationeries into reality. Your stationery printer should be able to deliver the product you desire at a price that wouldn’t be so harsh on the pocket. When you have finally settled for the best, you’re on your way to successful stationery printing that will make you leave that enduring first impression.

Get Comfortable with Personal Marketing

If you’re making marketing cold calls, the person on the other side of the phone isn’t thinking that this is anywhere near a personal type of call. To market more personally, you need to establish a familiarity quickly and cold calling is not usually the right way to go to get and maintain leads. Here are a few tactics to use that may help you avoid cold calling and that will give your marketing tactics a more personal feel:

Make appearances. Being holed up in a cubical making calls all day is not very much fun and isn’t exactly the most effective way to generate business. You need to get out in the world and show your face. For example, buy some booth space at a trade show and stock it with full color brochures that will be sure to catch people’s eyes. Or, if you don’t have the means, you can attend a trade show targeted toward the type of businesses or individuals that you want to sell to. Whatever industry you’re trying to sell to will have a trade show. Ask questions and pay attention what other companies are doing to grow their business. Jot down some notes either while you’re talking or right after so that you can follow up later. Don’t forget to get and give business cards.

Listen. If you’re so busy selling your product that you don’t even know what the potential customer even wants, you’re just wasting your breath. You need to listen almost more than you need to talk. When you’re networking at parties or dinners, listen to the people around you. Don’t try to talk the whole time. People will respond more favorably toward you if you pitch your idea after they feel like they’ve gotten to know you a bit and vice versa. They’ve already spent time with you and if you’ve given them your undivided attention, they’ll be more likely to reciprocate.

Use the customers you already have. This is probably the easiest technique because you already have prospects; you just need to hold on to them! You can do this by following up with your customers after they’ve bought something from you. Make sure they are satisfied and let them know to contact you if any problems should come up. This keeps the communication open so the next time you call and mention a new product, you won’t be seen as pushy, just informative. Also, your satisfied customers will be more likely to refer you to their friends and family if they’ve received great customer service. They’ll also be more likely to provide you with referrals.

Another way to market to your existing customers is by letting them know what products you have that they didn’t know they needed. Try to think of other products that would complement the products that a customer has bought in the past and bring that up the next time you talk to him. If you employ brochure printing when marketing a new product, be sure to include past customers on your brochure mailing list that have bought something similar to the new product.

Research business prospects. If you have any customers like company presidents, look for any articles they’ve written or have had written about them. What are their latest products and how can your product or service help them create better or a higher number of their product? People will be flattered that you know about them and what their company is up to that they’re more likely to talk to you and listen to your ideas.

Find leads from people you already work with. Don’t forget that a co-worker could have an uncle that owns a Bait Shop that would benefit from carrying your line of coolers. Talk to your colleagues, vendors and existing customers to give you referrals. Has anyone asked you for a referral? It’s perfectly acceptable to go back to the people you’ve helped and ask for them for help in gaining leads.

Digital Marketing Professionals – What You Should Know

Digital marketing is advertising and promoting a business through the use of digital media. This includes the Internet, cell phones, social media, and interactive television. Digital advertising is a diverse and growing field. As more consumers get access to the internet and various digital media, marketing products and services to this ready made audience is essential.

What kind of digital advertising jobs are available?
Depending on your interests and skills, you can find digital marketing opportunities with advertising and marketing agencies, large businesses that have their own web or marketing division, and smaller businesses that need technical support that can “do it all”. Once you have acquired digital marketing skills you can even start your own business, and create marketing plans for businesses and individuals.

What type of training is required to become a digital marketing professional?
There are two ways to get involved with digital advertising. You can:

- Be a marketing or advertizing professional already, and learn the skills required to promote your clients or business through digital media.

- Go to school specifically to learn about computers and digital promotion

If you are interested in a career in digital marketing, you will need to complete some training. Courses are offered in a wide range of formats. If you are currently a student, you can pick up a class or two in digital marketing right on campus. If you are already employed, consider an online course or a work at home program, so you can enhance your skills, but still have time for your existing job.

You can target specific fields in digital marketing. If you enjoy creating ads, consider learning about video, flash, and CGI techniques, to build compelling ads that customers respond to. If you prefer writing, enroll in some courses designed to help you learn how to write ads to increase customer response, and in turn revenue for your business.

No matter what your area of interest, be sure that any school or program you are attending is accredited, and can provide you with the correct certification for your field. While the knowledge you gain is important, some positions and employers require certification as proof of your training, so you will need to be sure you are able to provide it when needed.

How do I find a job as a digital marketing professional?
If you are enrolled in school fulltime, start searching for a job in your last semester. Check with your university to see if they offer any paid or unpaid internships-these are often a great gateway to a fulltime, permanent position.

If you are currently employed, look for a digital marketing position in your own company. Make sure your employer is away of your skills, and let them know you are ready to apply what you have learned when an opening becomes available. You should also check with the school that you did your training with, to see if they have a placement department or program. Make sure you check the major job search sites online and your local newspaper as well, so you can be aware of what positions are available to you. Don’t forget to update your resume to reflect your new skills.

If you enjoy working with computers, and learning about new technology, then a course of study to become a digital marketing professional might be for you.

What is Digital Real Estate?

To be honest I just made the term up and I’m not sure if people even use this phrase, digital real est is anything online that has an address or location. One that you can lay claim to! A really good example would be a domain name such as http://www.Free-Web-Submission.com.

But…

With so many massive companies or small companies going massive overnight means lots of new real estate is now available for free, for example with facebook you have the option to create a fan/business page and once created this page becomes part of your online real estate empire which you control and its important to note that the search engines index these pages and they can rank very HIGHLY.

You need to claim your piece of the pie for each and every single video site, social networking, social book marking, directories, blog directories,…Everywhere you can think of.

If you don’t have the time to do them all at least do these few

You need to stamp your name on all of these websites, the benefits are countless for example:-

Backlinks, google indexed pages, increased traffic, increased page rank…

but the only thing you need to consider is what if somebody claimed http://www.youtube.com/YourBusinessNameHere and then uploaded all sorts of un-mentionable videos with a link to your website, I’m sure you could file a lawsuit but the damage would of already been done.

Claim your Digital Real Estate Now!

Regards

Lee

Are You Wasting Your Time With Unnecessary Marketing?

Are you offering solutions to problems with your marketing campaigns such as your print brochure? Or you are just wasting your time, energy and precious dollars on printing brochures that do not quite give you the results you need? If it is the latter then I would reckon that you should go back to the drawing board and start looking for a new marketing strategy for your business.

Ask yourself whether your campaign of print brochure really works hard to get you the results you need to succeed or is it just a milking cow that your target client really does not care about. If you are offering useless information rather than valuable solutions to problems then you are simply wasting not only your time but your target clients’ as well. However you are printing brochures or even if you get the most expert printing company, you will never be able to have an effective marketing campaign if you cannot get the right response from your target clients.

Just think about it. Doing your marketing campaigns from a print brochure to creating mission statements and printing notepads for your business may not be the best strategy. They may not even be significant in getting you the ROIs you are looking for. Why? Because they may not even be answering a need of your target clients.

Truth be told, mission-vision statements may be necessary to your organization but it is not that hot to your target audience. Sure they would sometimes be interested in the values and principles you work by but at the end of the day what matters are the solutions you provide for their issues and concerns. Are your products giving the answers to their problems? Are you conveying your offering enough?

The fact is that consumers do not care about your mission-vision statement, even your features. They could not care less. Unless you are able to provide them the benefits in your print brochure, you will never be able to convince them that you have value and worth for them. What they care about are the benefits – what is in it for them?

What you need to do is to totally redesign when printing brochures to give your target audience with marketing campaigns that they would want. They should not have problems relating to your offer and at the same time, they should understand what you are offering in simple terms. Do not make it difficult for them to understand you. It makes life easier for them to get to know your offer – the better it is for you as they can decide quickly on your favor.

Lastly, do not give them too many options. Studies have shown that the less choice they have the quicker it is for them to arrive at a decision to purchase. And give them respect while you are at it. It does not hurt to give what your target clients want so you can get the right response again and again.

List Building – How I Generate 100 New Subscribers Every Day

I’ve got a confession to make… when I first started my business online
more than ten years ago, I didn’t have a clue on how to build a list.

This article is written for someone like I was in mind and also for those
who could even be considered a list building guru, because the strategy
that I am about to share is what has skyrocketed the number of opt-ins to
my list to an amazing number of one hundred subscribers every day.

For those that need a little help with the list building mathematics, that’s
thirty six thousand five-hundred new subscribers from just adding one
little feature to my web site. It only took a few minutes and it will only take
you a few minutes to do as well.

In fact, it can be done in as little time as it takes to read this article if you
pay attention and are serious about list building.

The problem is that opt in pages must be short and to the point in order to be
optimized for subscribers, but sometimes people would opt in if they just had
the opportunity to check out your main web site.

The problem with this is, that if you just send them to your main web site, then
they could leave without ever giving you their name and email address to stay
in touch and that opt in would be lost forever as pertains to list building.

Well, the solution is contained in just one simple strategy
that will allow you to take advantage of the best of both of
those above strategies and none of the drawbacks. After all,
you’re not the type to draw back, are you? Of course not.
So, let’s get you started at becoming a list building guru in
just a few minutes.

The break through strategy that is responsible for so many
more subscribers in just a short period of time is so simple
you might even laugh. But, if you’re like me, simple and
effective equals good.

You know those annoying pop-ups that you have to click to
close out because they somehow passed the pop-up blocker
software?

Well, that is the secret except without the annoying part.
You see, the secret is in using unblockable pop-ups at YOUR
main web site.

What you do, is drive people to your web site and when they
get there, the pop up comes up offering them a free ebook that
I can show you how to make as well.

This one little snippet of code to add to the web site is
what has increased conversions so high.

Adding this to your list of list building secrets will greatly multiply
the number of opt in subscribers for you.

You know what else will?

Well, I’d love to tell you here, but you need to download my
ebook on secrets the to listbuilding. I normally charge for it,
but since you stuck with me by reading this article,
you can download it for free below!

Go ahead and do that now and we’ll pick up where we left off in
just a few minutes.

Tips on Adjusting Your Marketing Strategy in a Rough Economy

In the weeks following the Fourth of July, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke warned the NPR audience that the U.S. economy is facing “numerous difficulties.” Obviously, most people know this, what with the $4 a gallon gas and all the foreclosures happening in every state. People are being more and more careful as to where they spend their hard-earned money. Business owners and marketers should remember that the economy is cyclical, and this is just another down time to deal with.

You can survive this down time by adjusting your marketing strategies. You need to be savvy and streamlined in your marketing decisions. When times are tough, you don’t want to cut from your marketing budget first, which is a common mistake. Your long-term success depends on your marketing campaign staying strong. But strong doesn’t mean expensive. For instance, to save money on printing costs, ask your catalog printing company if they’ll also print your business cards or brochures for a discount. Many printing companies will be willing to give you a discount if you buy in bulk.

Here are some tips to help you adjust your marketing in a rough economy:

1. Get to know what’s important to your customer in this rough economy. You need to know what drives your target market and how they are dealing with the current economy. Are they not driving as much? Throw in free or low-cost delivery. Buyers are now willing to hold off on making big purchases, or they’ll only go with the brands they have a relationship with. Build your relationship at this tough time by addressing their concerns (like high gas prices) and your solutions in your marketing materials.

2. Pay attention to your actual and projected sales. During a slow economy, you need to be constantly monitoring your sales and adjusting your strategies. Keep track of your incoming and projected sales and compare that with past data so that you can predict what’s going to happen before it happens. Make sure you are marketing for the months ahead if you know that the fall is slow for your business. This way you’ll keep your customer flow steady. Move your annual August sale to October if you think you’ll need the sales then.

3. Don’t try to introduce a new product or service now. A slumping economy is not the best time to launch a brand new item. If you own a coffee shop, now might not be the best time to introduce gourmet pastries. You don’t want to take the risk of failing when you can’t be sure if it’s your idea that failed, or just the economy that made your new venture fail. Right now people might like the idea of enjoying a gourmet pastry with their coffee, but they just can’t afford it right now. But how will you know that?

4. Emphasize your unique brand. In a time when people are prying open their wallets with a crane, competition becomes brutal. Be sure that your marketing materials emphasize how you are different from your competition and why that difference is better.

5. Emphasize the value of your product or service. Promote the value your product or service always brings to your consumers, no matter what the economical weather. Emphasize durability, reliability, performance and quality in your marketing materials. Also be sure to let customers know how much you value and appreciate their business.

By keeping your marketing strategies up to snuff with just a tweak in approach, you’ll keep customers through this bad economy and you’ll also bring in new customers when the economy rebounds. Stay focused to stay successful throughout the year.

Obtain the Full Benefit of Shopping Online

Close your eyes and think of your most recent visit to your local retail store to purchase a gift for a love one. Remember when you entered through the sliding glass doors and immediately noticed the large crowd of people, clogging up the isles and picking away at all the sales items. Maybe you had the encounter with the pesky sales person who asked “Is there anything I can help you with” and you reply politely for the eight time “No, Thank You”. Remember after hassle to get your gift; the reward you received was the long line to get to the cashier. Now open your eyes, go to your computer and make a simple search the same item you purchased. You will notice that the nuisances discussed earlier are eliminated and the item you wanted is a click away. Also look at the price, notice that it is less than the retail price you paid. The benefits of shopping online are easy to see, however if you don’t know what to look for, then obtaining the full benefit is not as easy to see. Use the following as a guide to obtain the full benefit of shopping online.

The web is full with online stores all trying to do one thing… sell to you! The prices are already incredibly low, but some websites have their prices lower than others. Look for online stores who sell at below retail price otherwise know as “Wholesale”. Also make sure when searching for a product online, don’t settle for the first great price you see chances are there’s a better price. For instance, if looking for gifts, don’t just look through the first few websites, go deeper into your search results and ensure your getting the best price. If you could save a dollar or more for every website you visit, then taking the few extra minutes would really be beneficial. However you want to stop as soon as you see the price on the item does not continue to decrease.

When looking through these online stores look to see if they have a minimum order, membership or dropshipping fees. There is nothing more annoying than thinking that you have the best deal on the web and then looking at your checkout cart noticing there are hidden fees. When shopping for wholesale prices this is often the case. Websites who don’t have minimum orders or hidden fees usually advertise this on the home page.

As previously stated, online stores want your business so they are willing to take the extra step to ensure that you not only become a customer but also a return customer. Some websites offer free shipping after a certain amount others offer a free vacation. For example at istockbargains.com customers who purchase $100 or more receive a 3 day 2 night stay at a deluxe hotel. Usually these rewards are listed on the home page of the site. These rewards serve to remind the customer of the store they purchased from and hopefully to entice the return of that customer.

So now when shopping online, remember the following to make sure that you receive the full benefit of shopping online. Remember to truly search for the best price available and don’t just settle for the first store. Remember to look for websites with no membership fees, no dropshipping fees and no minimum order. Finally, don’t be ashamed to want a little extra for your buck. Look for websites that pride themselves on return customers and rewards them for their business.

Forum Marketing Explained

Online forums are excellent for internet marketing, forums allow you to build a relationship and interact with your target market and also allow you to drive traffic to your website. Forums should be treated like a goldmine because that’s exactly what they are.

This article will show you how to use forums in your marketing campaigns. If you follow these simple steps then you will be able to take advantage of forums related to your niche.

Find forums that are extremely relevant to your niche. It is no good going to a gardening forum and trying to sell them information about painting, it just wouldn’t work, you need to find forums that are where your target customers would usually visit and hang out if you want to achieve the best results. You can find forums related to your niche by going to google and searching for “your market forum”. There are thousands of forums all over the internet and there is more than likely one or more that will fit your exact needs, just have a look for them.

Always read the rules and have a clear understanding of what is allowed and what is not allowed, if you are banned from a forum for breaking the rules, even if it is unintentionally, you will obviously not be able to use that forum to profit from. Know the rules and abide by them or you may lose a source of highly targetted customers.

Contribute relevant and quality information. Your main goal for posting on a forum may be to gain email subscribers or make sales but you must treat it as though you are just there to talk and discuss topics on the subject, if you go to a forum and just make posts in order to gain exposure then you will not be rewarded and will probably find yourself banned quickly, instead you should only post when you have something of value to contribute or if you have something important to say on the subject in discussion. Treat it as though you are really talking to people face to face and try to build good relationships, this will be better for long term marketing.

Stay away from “flame wars” as some people like to call them. A “flame war” is just another name for an argument taking place in a forum and arguing in a public forum is definitely not going to be good for your business, even if you feel strongly about it and think that most members would agree with you, it is simply best to stay away from arguments and just not get involved at all.

Respect the administrators and moderators. These are the people that run the forum and keep everything in order, so it would be best to not get on the wrong side of them and try not to annoy them. These people have the power to ban you from a forum and in most cases they will do if they think they should. Respect the decisions these members make and do not argue with them.

Look out for what the forum members want. Forums are excellent places for researching and finding out exactly what a market wants, there are posts about problems people have, things people want, things people are looking for, things people are not happy about and so on, all these things open up an opportunity for you to give them what they want. If multiple posts are being made about something and many people are in agreement then you should try and find a way to solve their problems and give them exactly what they are looking for.
